Job: Head Coach

Justin Davey

Justin Davey is entering his fifth year on the varsity coaching staff. He is a graduate of North Penn High School and West Chester University. While at High School, Justin was a 3 letter winner at the quarterback and defensive back positions. Justin still holds multiple season and career passing records at North Penn. He is a 6th year AP Economics teacher at Conestoga. Justin is also the Assistant Head coach of the Varsity Baseball team. Coach Davey will be working with our quarterbacks.

Gordon Davis

Coach Davis returns to Conestoga to work with the offensive and defensive lines. Previously, Davis served as the run-game coordinator at Archbishop Carroll and looks to bring his knowledge of that side of the ball. A 2004 graduate of Strath Haven High School, Gordon played offensive line for the Panthers.  After high school, Coach Davis played 4 years of varsity offensive line at Delaware Valley College where he earned Middle Atlantic Conference honors in Academics as the Aggies won several conference championships.  Coach Davis later earned his Master’s in Education from West Chester University and has taught English and science in the T/E school district for the past 9 years. In the spring, Gordon coaches middle school lacrosse at TEMS. Gordon and his wife, Jenna, live in Upper Merion.

Matt Kaminskas

Coach Kaminskas is in his fifth year with the Pioneers. Matt Graduated from Conestoga in 2008 as a 3-year varsity letterman and served as team captain. Coach Kaminskas attended Kutztown University where he played defensive end and was part of the PSAC championship team in 2011. Matt graduated with a bachelors in history and is currently earning his teaching degree at Cabrini College.  In 2015 Matt was a defensive line coach at Valley Forge Military College. Currently, Matt holds a position in Conestoga as part of the security team. Matt will be coaching the defense for the Pioneers.

Matt Diamond

Coach Diamond is entering into his third season as the Head Coach at Conestoga. Coach Diamond is a 1998 graduate of Conestoga High School, serving as team captain in both football and baseball. In football, Matt was first-team all-area as a defensive back and quarterback. Matt played college football at Gettysburg College, where he was a 4 year starter and received all-league recognition his senior year as a defensive back.  After graduation in 2002, Matt coached defensive back at Bigglerville High School outside of Gettysburg. In November of 2016 Matt was inducted into the T/E Old Timer’s Conestoga High School Football Hall of Fame. Matt, a teacher at Valley Forge Elementary since 2005, and his wife Krissy, also a teacher in the district, have 4 kids. Matt is also the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for Conestoga.
